Our French course for beginner is 36 hours long and divided in 3 independents Units.

Level 1.1 : Absolute beginner ( 12 hours over 6 weeks) Language levels skills

Level 1.2 : Breakthrough ( 12 hours over 6 weeks)

Level 1.3 : Survival ( 12 hours over 6 weeks)
 

Entry level: No previous knowledge is required.


Description: This course develops your ability to cope with everyday life situation in France.

Objectives:

- Gain a practical command of both the spoken and written language.

- Tonal recognition and pronunciation.

- Understand simple sentence structure and basic questions.

- Understand numerals, time expressions and counting systems.

- Converse simply on a number of everyday topics.
- Proper pronunciation and the development of conversational proficiency are strongly emphasized.
- Demonstrate a sound basic familiarity with French history, culture

D.E.L.F  A1 course

 

Learn to understand and use every-day words and expressions to communicate in basic situations.

Our D.E.L.F A1 preparation course is 56 hours long and divided in 4 independent units:

 

Unit 1    :Absolute beginner level (6 week course)                            Language levels skills   

Unit 1.5 : Breakthrough level (6 week course)

Unit 2   : Survival level (6 week course)

Unit 2.5 : Pre-elementary level (10 week course)

   Objectives:

 

- To understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the  satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.

 

- To introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has.

 

- Being able to interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

 

 

* Exam fee: £ 38
This fee is not included in the course fee and payable to the exam centre.

 D.E.L.F A2 Course

Learn to communicate in typical every-day situations.

Our  D.E.L.F A2 preparation course is 40 hours long and divided in 2 units:

Level 2.3: Upper-elementary level (10 week course)                                Language levels skills

Level 3.1: Low-intermediate level (10 week course)

 

   Objectives:

 

- To understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).

 

- To communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.

 

- To describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

This fee is not included in the course fee and payable to the exam centre.

 

A2 Exam date: Wednesday 20th June 2007

D.E.L.F B1 COURSE

Our D.E.L.F B1 course is 40 hours long and divided in 2 indepents units.

Level 3.2 : Intermediate level ( 20 hours over10 weeks)                     
Language levels skills

Level 3.3  : Upper-intermediate level ( 20 hours over 10 weeks)

 

 Objectives:

  - Understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.

 - Being able to deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken.

 - Be able to produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
